Newbie

Okay, so this whole blog thing is a new deal for me; on recommendation of a friend I decided to start this blog for a couple of reasons. First reason is, it seems I have a lot to say about music. Granted, I am not working for a label currently, nor am I any kind of trusted music critic for some higher power, but musicians/music managers often seek my opinion on new projects and new acts. It's kind of an ego booster to know that my opinion matters to some people in the music business so I figure, hell... why not share it with the world. Secondly, there are some seriously amazing musical acts out there... and some seriously shitty ones. Part of my need to blog is to reveal these uncoveries. I have a passion for finding talented people and unique music and I think it is important to share it with others. I have yet to meet a person in my life who doesn't like music. Lastly, a lot of crazy things happen in my life on an almost weekly basis. This site will not be ENTIRELY dedicated to music as I will on occasion go off on a tangent. But hey, a good blog needs diversification right? Anyways, hopefully my babbling will provide some sort of insight for somebody and maybe even a new favorite band. Enjoy.
