Mock Puppet

Alright, I know I am slacking majorly. But it was the winter break... what the hell do you want from me. Plus I've been so caught up in the Britney drama that I can't even function. Yea right. That's a lie. That bitch needs some meds and some serious therapy.

ANYWAYS, on to more quality subjects like GOOD music...

Mock Puppet. Awesome. I was in LA back in spring of 2007 visiting some friends of mine who were out there recording and writing (Revelation Theory... but I will write a blurb on them later) and decided to go out with my boy to some bars and stuff. It was a random week night, but whatever we wanted to hang. So we stopped by this little bar somewhere near Hermosa Beach and it just so happened Mock Puppet was playing that night.

Their live show was awesome. We sat through their whole set and every minute of it was worth it. They were really peppy, funny as hell, and totally involved the crowd every second of their performance. Not to mention the music pretty much speaks for itself. Super indie, kind of Modest Mousey, but they definitely have their own sound. They are a great start for any major label looking to break into the indie scene, or any indie label looking to pick up something that can make headway for them. The guys are great. The music is great. It's the complete package. Check em out.
