Ok, so I have been slacking severely. Like bad. But honestly, I have so much shit going on right now it is hard to glue myself to the internet and search for new and amazing talent. So what I will do is finally explain to you my connection with Rev Theory (as I forementioned in an earlier post).
Alright so the story begins with Matt, the bassist, who was formerly my boyfriend about four years ago and whom I met through being a devious bitch to one of my own family members (they went to high school together). Anyways, while I was with Matt, I met the rest of the guys and have stayed in touch with all of them ever since that relationship came and went.
Watching the evolution of their band has been a priceless experience. More so for them I am sure seeing as how they went from traveling around in a conversion van to being signed to Interscope Records and becoming the next big rock band out there. Anyways, the guys have royally worked their asses off and continue to do so. I have heard much of the new album and I have to tell you it's amazing. It comes out in June, so if you are into the corporate rock scene you should definitely give it a listen... or at least come out to a show. The guys are hitting the road in the next couple of days with Seether, so check them out.
In addition... I had a phenomenal weekend with them at the WWE thing down in Orlando. They played a few of their new songs at the fan access area and definitely attracted quite a turnout.
So yea... nothing really overly revealing in this post but hey, my life is my business so you can kiss my ass on that one. HOWEVER, in support of the continuation of music and furthering the motivation of musicians to continue doing what they are doing... I am revealing tid bits to you in hopes that you will check them out. Click the link, give them a listen.
