So it's time I represent local Floridians. Props to the talent in my state by the way. Tons of musicians come out of here day in and day out. So if you thought Florida was full of retired people and graves, think again.
The softer side of nu metal, with a bit of an alternative rock feel to them, The Embraced is fully shined and primped from head to toe, ready to go. I believe they released their debut album not all too long ago, and considering these boys are working on their own fuel and fire, it sounds pretty damn good. I saw them live a while ago when they opened for 30 Seconds to Mars and I was super impressed by their performance. I have kept an eye on them ever since, hoping sooner or later someone would fall onto this little gem but no bites quite yet. Anyways, I am tired as hell so I am not going to write you a damn novel... but check them out (click the band name to get to their site). I recommend the song "Avarice."
